The AKA is supported by generous donors of the kiting community

The AKA is currently soliciting donations to the American Kitefliers Association “Great Kite Auction” at our 38th Annual Convention in Enid, OK! The auction is the AKA’s main fundraiser for the year, and helps fund our programs throughout the year. This year, we plan to have loud and silent auctions, bag raffles, and a cash and carry booth.
But we need your help!
Do you have any interesting or unique items that you’d be willing to donate to the AKA? How about a special kite that hasn’t seen air-time in a while? Our convention will have kitefliers from all over the world who might love to own it.
We appreciate any size or type of kite or anything kite related — the more unique the better. In the past, we’ve had everything from postage stamps to kites made with elephant poo paper (that’s what it was called). If it has to do with kites, then our members would be interested!
Remember, this is the AKA’s largest single fundraiser for the entire year, and all items are tax deductible.
We are accepting donations now and will be until the day of the Auction, but it would make our job much easier if we got your donation as soon as possible so that we can catalog and process them. Deadline for receiving items is Friday, September 25th, 2015. If it needs to arrive after that date, contact the Mel Hickman at the AKA Office (609-755-5483) for shipping instructions.
If you are shipping your auction donations, please send them along with this Auction Donation Form (http://tinyurl.com/o4s5ccs) to:
