Terry, the president of SkyWindWorld.org, has organized and presented art kite exhibitions in many major public venues, festivals, and workshops to preserve and promote the art and craft of kite design and construction. Highlighting her 23-year career are the signature kite exhibitions, “Visions of Lewis & Clark,” telling the story of exploring the Louisiana Purchase, and “The Flying Buffalo Project,” featuring work by Native American artists and students, flown over sacred buffalo jump sites.

A recent project was the Sacred Springs Kite Exhibition ;  Art4Water’s inaugural program in central Texas, set up by David Baker.  Sacred Springs is a collaboration between The Watershed Association, and over 50 national artists and kite makers in the creation of water-inspired art kites.   To accomplish this unique project, David partnered with the incomparable Terry Zee Lee, who organized the kite makers and the work, as well as designing her own kite for the show.  The show was featured in a recent issue of Kiting magazine.
