FLY IT PORT A FALL KITE FEST
Fly It Port A Fall Kite Fest Returns to Port Aransas Fly It Port A will host its annual Fall Kite Fest on Saturday, October 10, 2026, bringing kite flyers from near and far to the beaches of Port Aransas for a day of colorful kites, community, and coastal fun. Flyers will begin setting up around 10 a.m. between beach markers 1 and 20, with kites expected to fill the sky throughout the day, weather and wind permitting. Depending on conditions and participation, the fun may continue into the evening with a nighttime kite display. The festival is free and open to the public, with no registration required. Visitors are welcome to bring their own kites and join the flying or simply relax on the beach and enjoy the show. Kites may also be seen flying throughout the weekend surrounding the festival. Fly It Port A encourages visitors to come prepared for a day at the beach. Those parking on the beach will need a $12 Beach Parking Permit, available at the Port Aransas Welcome Center and local convenience stores.
