Treasure Island Kite Festival

Calling all kite flyers! Whether you fly massive inflatables, hand made art pieces, or high-performance sport kites; Treasure Island is your winter destination. Join us on Florida’s Gulf Coast for three days of wind, sun, and wide-open beach.
This festival welcomes all kite flyers with plenty of space for big displays, and sport kite flyers will find a supportive crowd and smooth wind for demos, comps, and play. Teams, experienced individuals, and newcomers alike are invited to fly, connect, and kick off the season in style.
This year we are expanding the sport kite competition to include Youth, Novice and Open. (building on the dozens of youth competitors the last few years).

Escape the cold, share the sky, and be part of a vibrant kite community. We’ll see you on the sand.
