Cleveland Kite Festival

The Cleveland Kite Festival, a highlight event of the Ohio Society for the Elevation of Kites, is an exhilarating celebration of kites and kite flying set against the picturesque backdrop of Cleveland. This annual festival, typically held in August, draws kite enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels, from the local community and beyond.

At the heart of The Cleveland Kite Festival is the spectacular display of kites in the sky — ranging from traditional designs to modern, innovative creations. The festival’s open sky and good wind conditions offer the perfect environment for kite flying. Attendees are treated to a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes, as kites of all sizes dance gracefully in the sky.
