The AKA is supported by generous donors of the kiting community

Deb Morey 1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.  Deb Morey, Houston, Texas. Privacy professional in the technology industry; been known to knit on the kite field; big fan of dogs and rainbows.
2. Why did you join the AKA? My husband, Gary, signed us up. I like supporting our association of kiters. We need a hub for all of us–kiters and non-kiters–to find each other and info about kiting.
3. What is your favorite kite to fly? dragon kite (White Bird, Geo. Peters twin-tail)
Deb Morey4. Where is your favorite place to fly? The beach! Often at Surfside Beach. Special trips to Padre Island
5. If you could fly with anyone dead or alive, who would it be, and what would you fly? My Dad, who died in 1992. If the wind was right, I’d fly my Barbara Meyer double delta conyne with six long transition tails.
6. Where is the next place someone can find you flying a kite? Caribbean Kite Festival in Katy, TX
