Hello AKA members,
To all the members of Regions 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. This is your year for electing a new Regional Director.
To all members: The position of AKA President is also up for reelection because it is only a 1-year position.
If you or somebody you know would be good in this position and for the AKA, and you/they want to do it: Nominate them. Please only nominate those who would be willing to do this. Just because you know them they may not want to do the job. Please check with them first before nominating them. Please be courteous.
Listed below are the requirements for the positions.
Following is a list of the necessary requirements to run as a candidate for the position of Regional Director or President:
— You must be 21 years old
— You must be a member of the American Kitefliers Association
— You must reside in the region in which you wish to represent as Regional Director
— Only members may nominate other members
— A member may nominate him/herself
The term of office for a Regional Director is three (3) years.
The term of office for the President is one (1) year.
